Lohan released from rehab after 23 days
Troubled Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has been released from court-ordered rehab, just three weeks into her 90-day term. The 24-year-old was ushered out of the back door of the UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Tuesday night and called her mother Dina as soon she got out, reported Radar online.
A three-car decoy was used to get her out of facility and away from the media.
It comes as another early release for the Mean Girls actress, who served just 13 days of a 90-day prison term for probation violations stemming from a 2007 DUI charge. The news comes following reports that Judge Elden Fox was expected to make a ruling to make a new rehab order, shortening Lohan’s court-ordered stay in treatment.
The doctors treating her believed that the 90-day stay ordered by the previous judge in the case, Marsha Revel, was excessive and recommended an early release. —PTI
