Liz pokes fun at reports of Warne’s makeover

Model-actress Elizabeth Hurley has taken to Twitter to poke fun at rumours that she is the one behind her cricketer beau Shane Warne’s dramatic makeover. The 46-year-old beauty took to her Twitter account to post a series of tweets in a sarcastic tone, reported Express online.
“I’ve decided to take full responsibility for Shane Warne’s remarkable weight loss and will be publishing my secret, possibly evil, regime shortly. Please buy multiple copies to benefit my retirement fund (laughs),” she tweeted.
With her tweets, the Austin Powers star was clearly in the mood to tease Warne.
“I am about to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich — you may watch me as you slowly spoon up your thin and tasteless gruel. Then I’ll sit on your back and make you do 200 one-armed press-ups. And perhaps pin you down and re-tattoo your eyeliner,” she posted.

Facebook scam says Gaga dead
Los Angeles: Lady Gaga has become the latest victim of Facebook scamming with a fake massage, falsely stating that the pop star has been found dead in a hotel room, currently doing the rounds.
This follows another Facebook scam, which promised a video of Amy Winehouse just a few moments before her death, reported E! online.
The security agency Sophos is trying to warn people about the scam and have released a statement saying, “If you are tricked into clicking on the link you are taken ultimately (via a website which sloppily allows an open redirect) to a webpage that pretends to contain a BBC News video report.
Watch out, though, if you try to play the video as this is a clickjacking scam which attempts to silently say you “Like” the page when you click with your mouse.”
Gaga, 25, is in fact alive and well, and has been the subject of controversy recently, with little-known Chicago songwriter Rebecca Francescatti alleging that Gaga stole parts of her song for her hit Judas. —pti

‘Personality can determine one’s weight’
London: Are you impulsive or an extrovert? Well, these are some of your personality traits which may help determine what your weight will be as you get older, according to a 50-year study. In the study, researchers from America’s national Institute on Ageing looked at detailed statistics from 1,988 people to determine how personality traits are associated with weight and body mass index.
They concluded that while weight tends to increase with age, impulsivity was the strongest predictor of who would be overweight, the Sunday Express reported.
Conversely, they found that people who displayed the most conscientiousness in their daily lives were those who tended to be leaner and did not put on weight. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
