LeBlanc has no plans for Friends reunion
Actor Matt LeBlanc, who played the dumb ladies man Joey Tribiani in the cult comedy Friends, has no plans to reunite with the cast for a film, because he thinks it will just be “sad”.
Joey was one of the most loved characters on the show, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Mathew Perry. But LeBlanc is not keen on a celluloid reunion, reported Contactmusic.
“What would the story be? We all get together and what? Have coffee? It would be almost sad. It’s better to just imagine what those characters are doing now,” he said.
The 43-year-old actor said that people often equate him with his character in Friends. “Being known as Joey always gives me an advantage going into any situation because their guard is down. They think I’m stupid,” said LeBlanc. But the actor has no regrets about playing the Italian-American hunk.

Macca to India: Mark veggie day
New Delhi: Outspoken vegetarian Paul McCartney is urging India to declare a national Vegetarian Day to celebrate meat-free living and compassion towards animals.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says McCartney sent a letter to PM Manmohan Singh saying such a day could save animals while helping to protect both the environment and people’s health. McCartney’s letter says “it would be a celebration of life.”
The UN food agency in 2003 estimated 42 per cent of India’s 1.2 billion people are vegetarian. Singh’s office could not immediately confirm receipt of McCartney’s letter on Tuesday. —AP
