Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher was “snubbed” by former US President George W. Bush when they met at the recent Super Bowl game.
When the two met at last weekend’s football game but the former President “scowled” at Kutcher, who was seated behind the former politician in the VIP booth, reported Daily Mail online. “I don’t think he’s very happy with me. He wasn’t very nice, he snubbed me a little bit. I think I said some mean things during the election about him and I feel like he doesn’t like me,” said the 33-year-old actor.
“He was curt and his greeting was more of a burp. He turned around and gave me this scowl,” said the actor.
Kutcher added that inside the VIP booth nobody’s text messages were working except the former President’s. “He was sitting there sending messages on his Blackberry. And I’m behind him leaning over trying to see what he’s writing,” he said.

Outrage on mock Kate abduction
London: A Scout troop posing as terrorists sparked outrage after staging a mock kidnap of a girl playing Prince William’s fiancée Kate Middleton, a newspaper reported on Saturday.
Balaclava-clad Scouts kidnapped a teenager playing Middleton before going on a training exercise to find her, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Nearly 300 children aged between 11 and 15 were involved in the event, which was designed to foster map-reading skills, the broadsheet said.
They were from a Scout group based in Amersham, northwest of London. Older Scouts played the parts of the prince and his bride to be, before she was abducted. The Scouts then hunted for clues on a 12-mile trek to find her. Ros Aitken, a member of Amersham Town Council, said she was shocked. “I’m horrified that something like this has taken place,” she said. “It does sound inappropriate.”
But the event’s organiser, Brian Shelley, told the paper: “The Scouts loved it and found it very amusing. Nobody raised any concerns on the day, so I’m surprised to hear there were any.”
The quest was harmless fun and simply an idea to mark the royal wedding, he said. —AFP

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
