Kashyap to direct Big B in TV debut

Saraswati entertainment and Endemol have joined hands with Sony television to bring mega star Amitabh Bachchan on small screen. After the hugely popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, he will be seen making his small screen debut with a fiction series. Anurag Kashyap will direct Bachchan. “I’m glad to be working with Big B. Television is something that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. We are ready with one story and will commence shooting in a week,” says Kashyap.
“It has been a very long journey. For a long time I was wondering if it would be appropriate to work in a TV show. Not many people from my family, friends and fraternity were aware of my decision to work on TV. I’m grateful to Anurag and Sony for secretly working on the series. We’re still in the process and I’m hoping that we’ll come up with a good series,” said Bachchan.
