Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz had no qualms about sharing the screen with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and describes the actor as a brilliant comedian.

The 38-year-old actress who split from Timberlake, 30, after a three year relationship, stars alongside him in their forthcoming film 'Bad Teacher'.

And the blonde beauty said that there was no awkwardness on the sets, reported Huffington Post online.

"We wanted the best person for the job, and Justin was that person. He's such a great comedian. He's proven himself over and over again. We all knew what he would deliver on this and how great he would be," said Diaz.

The 'Cry Me A River' hitmaker made his foray into films with 'The Social Network' where he played Napster creator Sean Parker.

"The only thing that I think we were concerned with was what people would make up. The stories that people would make up about us," added Diaz.

The actress will soon start work on the highly-anticipated heist movie 'Gambit' which follows the story of an art curator who attempts to con a wealthy collector into buying a phony Monet painting.
