Jim to play villain in Spider-Man 2?

Funnyman Jim Carrey might feature as a villain in the upcoming superhero movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 after he was spotted visiting the sets in March.

The rumour is sparked by an Instagram photo featuring the actor paying a visit to the movie sets, reported Aceshowbiz. “It’s Jim Carrey! He came to the Spiderman set today! I wonder what he's doing there,” a fan captioned the said picture. Carrey might only have dropped by for a while, but reports suggest it could be a hint at his potential involvement in the second installment in the Amazing Spider-Man film series.
