Jackson’s kin to sue concert organisers
A judge has given late pop legend Michael Jackson’s family a go-ahead to sue the organisers of the King of Pop’s ill-fated London concerts.
The superstar died in June 2009, just weeks before he was due to take the stage in the British capital for a mammoth run of his “This Is It” shows.
Jackson’s mother Katherine, along with his three children, took legal action against bosses at AEG Live, the company behind the concerts, accusing them of fraud, negligence, breach of contract and infliction of emotional distress, reports contactmusic.com.
They claim AEG chiefs failed to undertake background checks on Jackson’s personal physician Conrad Murray, who stands accused of administering the fatal dose of anaesthetic Propofol which killed the singer.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
The lawsuit went to court in California on February 2.

Lingerie that blends with skin tone
London: Ever felt embarrassed after realising that your white or black bra was showing through your top during that important party? It could now become a thing of the past.
British retail giant Mark and Spencer have launched a range of “Nearly Naked” lingerie that blends perfectly with any woman’s skin and appears invisible under clothes, reports the Daily Mail.
While other attempts at making “nude” underwear have tended to take a one-colour-fits-all approach, the £18 “invisible” bra comes in four shades to match a range of skin tones. Using a spectrophotometer, a machine that can assess the individual shades, which make up the final colour, the company scanned the skin tones of more than 1,000 customers. —ANI
