Indian-origin girl is America’s teen queen

Anysha Panesar, a 16-year-old Indian-origin teenager has been crowned “America’s Perfect Teen”. The only problem is she is British. The teenager from Wales beat a host of American beauties to win the contest while on holiday in Florida and it has not gone down well with the losing candidates.
Parents of the American girls have protested to the organisers of the pageant, which has a $2,000 first prize, and an $18,000 scholarship to train as a TV broadcaster, reported Daily Mail online. But Anysha has hit back, arguing the outcry is just sour grapes.

Kardashian, Austin end relationship
London: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is single again after breaking up with football player beau Miles Austin.
The couple decided to part ways because their work commitments were keeping them apart, reported People online.
“There’s no huge reason except their distance apart. With his season and Kim’s filming, it just slowly split them apart,” said a source close to the couple.
“They tried to keep it as low profile as possible when they were together. They were acting as if they were single or just having fun. They were always strong, but before Kim left for Europe they decided it’s not fair that they don’t get to spend more time together and ended it,” added the source. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
