Reality star Kim Kardashian has said that she is a workaholic who thinks about her business ventures even when she is on holiday.
The 30-year-old reality TV star, who recently got engaged to sportsman Kris Humphries, struggles to switch off and can’t resist checking on her various endeavours even when she is vacationing, Glamour magazine.
“I’m always travelling. Having so many business ventures gets hectic. Even when I take days off, I find myself sneaking off to approve shoes for my website or photos for my perfume campaign. I'm a workaholic,” she said.
Despite her hectic schedule, Kardashian, who has an online shoe company, clothing line, jewellery collection, two perfumes and co-owns three boutiques — insisted she doesn’t mind putting in the work because she wants to do well.
“If I’m doing something, then I’m 100 per cent involved. That’s what it takes to be super-successful. From ad campaigns to pictures to wording, I want it all to be perfect. I don’t want to be just a face,” she added.
However, the brunette beauty admitted she often runs into difficulties with her work.
“There are always challenges. Getting a name trademarked and hiring people you can trust are hard. Opening Dash New York was a risk because the rent was four times as much as we were used to and we weren't familiar with the city,” Kim said.
