Gyllenhaal spends £100K on Swift date

Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal apparently splurged £100,000 to whisk Taylor Swift from America to the UK on a private jet. After she flew in to Luton, the stars locked themselves away in Gyllenhaal’s London hotel suite at the Dorchester.

Gyllenhaal was in town promoting his new comedy flick Love And Other Drugs.
The country singer, however, had been due in London to play the first ever Radio 1 Teen Awards but she jetted in early just to see Jake. “Jake wanted some quality time with Taylor. If he hadn’t done this, they would have missed each other as he had to fly back to the States,” the Sun reported. “He hired a jet which would easily have set him back £100,000,” said source. —ANI
