Gaga keeps oxygen tank backstage

Pop star Lady Gaga asks for an oxygen tank to be kept backstage along with some honey while touring.
The Paparazzi hitmaker demands the breathing aid in her concert rider and also insists that her backstage area is stocked with honey, according to documents issued to venues hosting her concerts, reported Contactmusic.
The venue can also be in breach of contract if the 24-year-old star is not served dinner by 5 pm and she eats a different type of food every day of the week.
On Mondays, Gaga likes to have a barbecue night, while Tuesdays are set aside for Asian food and Mexican is the cuisine of choice on Wednesdays.
Venues hosting the singer on Thursdays should serve her traditional American foods, while Friday is carving night.
On Saturdays, she prefers a pasta bar and on Sundays she likes to sit down with a roast turkey dinner with all trimmings.

Pinto wants to do action movie now
London: Freida Pinto says that she is tired of playing the exotic love interest in Hollywood films and wants a role in an action flick.
The 25-year-old Mumbaikar shot to fame as Latika in Slumdog Millionaire which went on to win eight Oscars and played a similar feminine character in Woody Allen’s romance You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger.
But Pinto is tired of the girly roles now and wants some action. “I keep playing the damsel in distress. But I’d like something with a kick now,” she said. Pinto who is dating her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel, said that she was very nervous while shooting with Woody Allen.
“This was my third film, so I was worried I was the only one with a lot to learn. But when I met people like Anthony Hopkins who were feeling pretty nervous, I realised everyone is intimidated to work with a legend,” said Pinto.
After making their debut in the Mumbai based potboiler, both Pinto and Patel, have gone on to become international stars. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
