Gaga faces lawsuit over Judas

A copyright infringement lawsuit has been filed against pop star Lady Gaga over allegations that her hit single Judas was lifted from a song written by an aspiring singer, named Rebecca Francescatti. The song was released earlier this year and featured in Gaga’s latest album Born This Way.

Francescatti claims the tune has a striking similarity with a piece she composed in 1999, named Juda, reports contactmusic.Com. The lawsuit was filed in a federal court earlier this month. —IANS
