Ex-guard claims he is Jackson 2nd son’s father
More than a year after Michael Jackson’s death, the paternity of his youngest son Blanket has again grabbed headlines after the star’s former bodyguard claimed to be the biological father of the eight-year-old boy.
The pop icon’s former body guard Matt Fiddes, 29, says he donated the sperm in 2001 after Jackson told him he wanted an “athletic” child, reported Daily Mail online.
Fiddes claims the “King of Pop” offered him half-a-million for the sperm but he turned the money down and donated it for free.
The following year Blanket, real name Prince Michael Jackson II, was born and Fiddes says he was told the baby was his by Mark Lester, who had claimed to be the father of the Thriller hitmaker’s daughter Paris.
“Michael never told me himself that Blanket is my son but he took my sperm and the child is the spitting image of me. He told me he wanted an athletic child. I don’t want Blanket thinking I am telling everyone he is definitely my son because I’m not sure,” said Fiddes.
