Elizabeth releases love letters from Burton

They divorced twice and went on to marry different people but screen icon Elizabeth Taylor has revealed that Richard Burton longed for another reunion on the day he died.
Burton’s turbulent romance with Taylor is part of the Hollywood lore and the 78-year-old actress is publishing a series of unpublished love letters sent by Burton to her, 26-years after his death. Though the actress has not released the final letter but according to her, in the heartbreaking note written just hours before his death Burton said that he was happiest with her and asked for another chance, the Daily Mail reported. Ironically, the actress, who was banned from attending Burton’s funeral by his widow, received it a few days later.
