Cricketers beat stars in T20 match

THE SECOND day of IIFA was filled with “Crickentertainment” with cricket match and fashion shows clubbed with seminars on investments and acting workshops.
Interestingly, stars played cricket and cricketers walked the ramp on the second day of IIFA in Colombo.

IIFA organised a T20 cricket match in the noon on Friday between two Bollywood teams and Sri Lankan cricket team at SSC stadium in Colombo.
Bollywood teams were headed by Hrithik Roshan and Sunil Shetty while the Lanka team was led by Kumara Sangakkara. Hrithik Roshan’s team included Viviek Oberoi, Dino Morea, Aftab Shivdasani et al and Harman Baweja, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ritesh Deshmukh were in Sunil Shetty’s team. However, Hrithik couldn’t play the match due to his knee injury while Sunil Shetty played for his team. The first match was between Sunil Shetty’s team and Sri Lanka cricketers in which cricketers easily won over the stars. Sri Lankan team won by 17 runs over Hrithik’s team. Sunil Shetty bagged the celebrity man of the match and Sangakkara took away the cricketer man of the match award.
IIFA informed that the proceedings from the ticket sales of the match will be spent by Unicef and other organisations.
