Actress Cameron Diaz has been named the CinemaCon's female star of 2011. The actress will receive the nod at Sony's studio presentation on March 30. She most recently starred in 'The Green Hornet'.

Fellow star Ryan Reynolds will receive his male star of the year honour at the inaugural confab's March 31 gala, Variety reported.

Diaz is all set to begin production in April on the Coen brothers' remake of 'Gambit' with this year's Oscar-winner Colin Firth.
