Following speculation that actress Cameron Diaz and baseball star Alex Rodriguez have split, the two were recently seen cozying up in a MTV award party, putting the rumours to an end.

The couple who have been in an on and off relationship past one year, attended the post MTV awards bash and were together throughout the night, reported US magazine.

Diaz, 38, and Rodriguez, 35, entered the VIP party hand-in-hand and were “very affectionate” according to one witness.

The duo chatted and mingled with friends and were inseparable, holding hands and stealing several kisses.

The bash was attended by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Aniston and other A-listers.
