Bundchen top earning model again

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has been named the world’s top earning model for the seventh time. The Brazilian beauty has topped the list, compiled by Forbes magazine, since 2004. This year saw the 30-year-old’s income increase by $20 million, taking her earnings over the past year to $45 million, reported Contactmusic.

Bundchen’s star status has helped a lot of brands. After becoming the face of hair care brand Pantene in March 2010, the company’s sales went up by 40 per cent in Latin America. Despite earning so much, the supermodel said that she likes nothing better than cleaning the house she shares with footballer-husband, Tom Brady, their 16-month-old son Benjamin and three-year-old stepson Jack.
“I love cleaning the house. It is actually very therapeutic for me. Becoming a parent has given me a whole new perspective on life. I can’t put into words how much I love it,” said the blonde bombshell. In second place is German model Heidi Klum, who earned $20 million through her recent partnership with website amazon.com and launching her own clothing line. Third place went to Kate Moss. —PTI
