Birth order to help find perfect match?

If clinical psychologist Linda Blair is to be believed, finding your perfect partner could be just one easy step away.
In her new book Birth Order: What Your Position In The Family Really Tells You About Your Character, Blair claims that the factor that exerts the most powerful influence on us all is the order in which we’re born. It doesn’t just affect our character, but also career and relationships. A person who was the first child born has different traits than those born in the middle or the last, reports the Daily Mail.
So, for example, if he’s a last-born and you’re a first-born, you’ll probably find that you get on extremely well. But if you’re both only children, there could be problems ahead.
For instance: A first-born and a last-born: The maxim that “opposites attract” makes a good starting-point, because first-borns often make a good match with a last-born, sometimes a perfect match, says Blair.
Simply because the eldest in a family is likely to be an organised and caring person while a last-born enjoys being dependent on someone else, but also tends to be less organised. Not only that, but the youngest in a family is usually more fun-loving than the eldest, who can do with having a bit more lightness in his/her life.

Halle fights for custody of daughter
Los Angeles: Former Bond girl Halle Berry is preparing for a court battle with ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubrey, to get custody of their two-year-old daughter Nahla.
The couple, who split last April after almost five years together, had previously arranged a split custody agreement. But now the actress has voiced “serious” concerns over Aubry’s parenting skills and will take legal steps to make sure she is safe, reported People.
“Halle has concerns for her daughter’s well-being while in the care of her father for any extended per-iod of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her,” her publicist said. The star has pulled out of the film New Year’s Eve, which was set to start filming this week in New York in order to clear her schedule for custody litigation. “Halle has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention,” her representative said. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
