Big B takes to Twitter after blog’s success

After blogging, Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan has now taken to tweeting.
The Big B, who is credited with starting the trend of celebrity-blogging in India with his much popular blog, joins fellow celebrities on the micro-blogging site. “Yipee... I am on Twitter... And you can follow me on ... @srbachchan... Love as always...” Bachchan informed fans via his blog.
The 67-year-old actor’s son Abhishek Bachchan is already on Twitter while his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai is yet to join the micro-blogging sphere which is popular with B-town celebs like Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan as well as veteran star Shammi Kapoor. In his very first tweet, Big B wrote to his son, “@juniorbachchan hey baby !! I made it on twitter !!! Yeeaaaaaahhhh !! ... Sorry.. Just got carried away... Safe onward flight and love. (sic)”
The actor has already garnered 2,172 followers within four hours of his joining Twitter.
