Big B back as KBC 4 host

Amitabh Bac-hchan is back on the hot seat for the fourth season of popular telequiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, which apparently helped him relaunch his showbiz career in 2000.
The 67-year-old megastar, whose catch phrases like ‘computerji’ and ‘lock kiya jaye’ dominated the Indian drawing rooms, hosted two seasons of the show before being replaced by Shah Rukh Khan after falling ill in 2006.
“Nobody came to me for the third season but I think Shah Rukh did a great job as a host on KBC. I don’t understand how TRP works but it is a great honour and a pleasure to be associated with the show again,” Bachchan told reporters while announcing his comeback.
This is Bachchan’s fourth outing as a host on small screen after two seasons of KBC and reality show Bigg Boss.
Asked whether he is nervous about living up to the expectations of the audience once again, he said, “I am an artiste and my job is to do things creatively with more hard work. The aura has been created by the media but it is always the audience who is the final judge.”
