Gerard Butler shoots despite on-set mishap
Scottish actor Gerard Butler, who was injured on the sets of Of Men And Mavericks did not let the accident act as a hindrance in filming.
Butler, 42, was shooting a surfing scene in northern California when a large wave brought him crashing down, leaving him struggling to keep his head above the water, reported Daily Star online. Butler was taken to Stanford University Medical Center, but he had to be convinced by movie bosses to seek medical assistance. “I was going to go back that day. I was actually in the ambulance and wanted to go back, which was a little crazy, but it is pretty addictive. This was maybe one of the few times that the reports were not exaggerated.” — PTI

Cannon undergoes kidney surgery
Pop star Mariah Carey’s ailing husband Nick Cannon underwent surgery after suffering acute kidney failure during a winter break in Aspen, Colorado.
The 31-year-old actor and TV anchor Cannon was transferred from the winter playground to a hospital earlier this week so he could be closer to the home he shares with Carey and their twin babies, reported Ace Showbiz.
Just hours after the singer told fans she was hoping her husband would be home by the start of next week, Cannon took to Twitter to reveal he had just come out of surgery.
“Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. Ouch,” Cannon tweeted. — PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
