Amy was engaged to Traviss?

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse secretly got engaged to boyfriend Reg Traviss weeks before her mysterious death.
Traviss paid tribute to the singer, who had a long struggle with drug and alcohol addiction, saying he had lost “his dear love”.
And it is being claimed that Traviss proposed to the Back To Black singer and they were secretly engaged.
Traviss, 35, presented the 27-year-old singer with a diamond ring and she accepted his proposal, the Sun reported.
“Reg asked Amy and of course she said ‘Yes’. She loved him. She wanted nothing more than to be his wife and to start a family with him. She wanted to get rid of her demons so badly,” a source told the newspaper. The couple were reportedly planning a wedding next year. Winehouse met Traviss just two months after finally splitting from her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The cause of Winehouse’s death will be known only after toxicology reports as the post-mortem was inconclusive.

Pamela to be on Celebrity Big Brother
London: After making waves with her three day stint on the Indian Bigg Boss, Pamela Anderson is now reportedly gearing up to enter the reality show’s UK version Celebrity Big Brother. The former Baywatch bombshell is on the brink of signing up for the hit reality series, which launches on Channel 5 this month.
The 44-year-old former Playboy pin-up has an advantage over her rivals because she has already been a housemate. In 2008 she stunned viewers Down Under when she joined the Australian Big Brother. And last year she entered the Indian version Bigg Boss and stayed for three days. Show bosses in the UK were counting on her to steam up TV sets. “I am very excited about the show. I will just be myself and have fun with the contestants in the house,” said Anderson. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
