Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried has said she can't wait to become a mother, as she feels broody whenever she is around her publicist's two children.

The 'Red Riding Hood' star, who is dating Ryan Phillippe, admitted she wants children but isn't setting herself a deadline to start a family, reported Now magazine.

"I want children! My publicist now has two kids — I love her, so I like to think I'm an auntie to her kids. I can't wait to have my own! I think it's really exciting to know that I want them. Knock on wood, I hope I'm fertile, but I've never got pregnant before," she said.

Despite her wish to have a child, the 25-year-old actress insisted she hates dating and particularly despises blind dates.

"I'm always somehow involved with somebody, so I don't really date. If I meet somebody I'm really fascinated by, I'll hang out with them, but I don't go out.

"I also know what I'm like and I'm picky anyway, but dating is a world that I'm not interested in, blind dates especially. Scary! But I guess it's been successful for some."
