SSTL gets notice for rollout delay

Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd has received a notice from the government seeking an explanation for the delay in rolling out its network, as mandated by the licence. “We have received the letter from the Government and will reply to it (letter) within the stipulated time that is 15 days,” SSTL president and CEO Mr Vsevolod Rozanov said.

CIL, SCI in deal on coal import

Coal India Ltd (CIL) and Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) on Monday signed an MoU for a 50:50 joint venture that would engage in importing 25 million tonne of coal a year to meet the growing demand of imported coal in India. “We will finalise the finer details of the joint venture,” Coal India chairman, Mr Partha Bhattacharya, said.
