Seventeen killed in road mishap

Seventeen people, including three children, were killed and three others injured on Tuesday morning when a truck carrying them overturned at Tarapur taluka here, the police said.

The sand-laden truck overturned near Indranaj village, killing 17 people on the spot, they said. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The truck was on its way from Surat to Bhavnagar.
