Mock drills conducted at 5 city spots

Following the serial blasts in Bihar’s Bodh Gaya temple, the Mum-bai police conducted mock drills on Thu-rsday at five strategically chosen points to test the alertness of the security forces, as
well as of the general public.
Recently, an unidentified person claiming to be from the Indian Mujahideen sent a tweet claiming responsibility of the Bodh Gaya serials blasts. The tweet stated that the next attack would be in Mumbai.
The mock drills were conducted at Malabar Hill water reserve near the Hanging Gardens, Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers, BKC and Borivali’s ST depot. The mock drill started at 2 pm and ended at around 5 pm.
According to sources, the elite Force 1 and personnel from the Quick Response Team (QRT) participated in the mock drill.
