When does Harry Potter turn evil?

From the role of a school going boy as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe seems to be making a bold move of playing Arthur Kipps in The Woman in Black. Youngsters across the country are waiting with baited breath to watch him in this new avatar in this horror film.
A Victorian era film, in The Woman in Black, Arthur Kipps is a young widowed lawyer who travels to a village to be haunted by ghosts. “It is odd to see Harry Potter all grown up. It is going to be hard for me to get rid of the Potter image. How odd is it that he won’t have his glasses in this new avatar!” says a lecturer, Vidya Balakrishnan.
Many people feel that by the fifth film, Potter got a more mature look. “He lost his nascent and childish image that he had in the first film,” says a student, Nausheen Shakeel. Daniel Radcliffe and his contemporaries are great actors and ought to venture out. Arjun Ramamurthi, a student says, “As actors, the three main protagonists need to try new things for their career. This is a bold move and a definite change that he has made for himself. Fortune favours the brave.”
Many loved his role in the play Equus. “In Equus, Radcliffe played a strikingly different role. The Potter franchise has ended. But one thing that Harry Potter did for me is that it has made sure that Radcliffe will always be seen in a film with special effects,” says Prathyusha B V, a corporate communication executive.
A few film buffs see this as a test for young Potter. Tara Anand, a student says, “This film is nothing but a test of his acting skill. We as an audience need to see if he can cross the boundaries we have set for him. Leonardo DiCaprio changed his image of being the Titanic boy, I am sure Radcliffe will do the same.”
While some prefer Potter’s transition into an action or horror protagonist, there are many that would rather have this cute and childlike face get into romantic comedies. “This transition into horror is massive. I would rather see Radcliffe comeback in a romantic comedy. I am intrigued to see his new avatar,” says Vidya. Many youngsters like Vidya will watch The Woman in Black only for Daniel Radcliffe.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
