What did these Dash Cams capture?
If you thought chivalry was a thing of the past, well, think again. YouTube user ArkadiYM93 has put up a collection of clips that features Russia’s best Samaritans. One usually watches videos where cops are chasing down criminals, tackling drug addicts etc, but how often have we seen dash cams capture acts of kindness and gallantry?
According to The Huffington Post, the text that appears in the video, reads, ‘Any act can become one of great kindness if it is done selflessly. When was the last time you did a good deed?’.
The video received around 880,000 hits in a
single day and now has gone viral with over 2,955,449 views. Dashboard cameras are quite popular in Russia, where they help identify insurance frauds.
The moving montage features a man helping an old lady cross the street, picking up a baby stranded on the road and even cleaning off snow from a car’s tail lights. There are even clips of a person shooing off what looks like a squirrel on the road, preventing it from becoming road kill.
A video like this comes your way every once in a while just to let you know that a kind gesture makes the world look like a much better place. A YouTube user even went on to comment saying, ‘Good work humans — I like you sometimes.’
