Wellness clinic for pets

It’s good news for those who treat their pets like family. Amteshwar Veterinary Care, a hospital boutique which was recently inaugurated at the Community Centre, Yusuf Sarai, promises to be the solution for all health-related problems your pets face.
“It is the first veterinary centre that has not just veterinary doctors, but a grooming centre, a full laboratory, dental center, a medicine and food shop. It is a complete service center for animals. We are trying to get the best possible people to set a benchmark for veterinary care,” says Maneka Gandhi from People for Animals.
At present the hospital has one doctor and soon it will have four more senior doctors and staff.
“The idea is for the hospital to be a commercial center, and the money it makes can go to better the infrastructure in our 33 other animal shelters. If this does well, we should open a chain,” adds Maneka.
