A ticket to exploration
It’s said that travelling is the route to exploration. Keeping this in mind, the University of Delhi (DU) is giving its students another chance to explore new things.
In its endeavour to carry forward the legacy of the Gyanodaya Educational Trip series, DU is undertaking the Gyanodaya — III.
According to the University officials, it will be an unique experience since it will facilitate the intermingling, interaction and understanding between 150 international students from the UK with their counterparts from DU. “It will instill a sense of pride in the Indian students while showcasing to the international students the rapid strides in our urbanisation as well as diversity of our great nation embedded in deep cultural and religious lineage. The exercise will be an educational trip on board the Gyanodaya Express to Punjab — the land of rich culture, tradition and rapid modernisation,” says the DU website.
For a week-long trip, Gyanodaya Express will be flagged off from Safdurjung Railway Station, New Delhi and will follow the route Delhi Safdurjung—Amritsar—Ludhiana— Chandigarh—Kurukshetra and back.
