Swaying to groovy beats
Electronic Dance Music (EDM) lovers can now rejoice. Asia’s premier EDM festival, Sunburn, is coming back to Goa this December. The three-day long fiesta has over 60 acts in its fourth edition, including top acts like Jalebee Cartel, DJs Ferry Corsten, Axwell, Brian Transeau, Richard Durand, Pete Goodling and many others.
Joint MD of Percept India, which is organising the event, Shailendra Singh said, “The amazing response we’ve received over the past three years is an indication of just how much this genre of electronic music has caught on. Sunburn 2010 will feature some of the best global talent.”
A new feature in this edition of Sunburn will be the focus on emerging music producers through the “Sunburn Anthem and Video” contest. Contestants will have to come up with fresh remixes of Nadia Ali’s Love Story, and winners will be featured on the post-festival compilation album. Another addition is the creation of a People’s Choice Award for the best audio producers.
