Mostly waterproof, outdoor furniture feature distinctive qualities which combine functionality with looks. The collections includes swings, monkey swings, service trolley, sideboards, outdoor chest, bar counters and stools, service sideboards, bench, magazine rack, lifeguard chair, stools, side tables, consoles, tea/coffee table, utility boxes, planters and hammock etc.
Most of the outdoor furniture available in the market is usually 100 per cent resistant to all kinds of weather conditions and can be left outside year round.
Besides metal furniture, some weave products are hand-woven with unique synthetic fibers, which is UV stabilised for all weather resistance. The products are usually dirt repelling, environment-friendly and require no maintenance during monsoon season.
What to buy for outdoor
Stepping away from the conventional chairs and tables, chairs and swivel chairs with round seats are in vogue. The round bases, usually made from wood, are popular among buyers. They do not only look good, but are comfortable and lightweight as well.
Clean and simple lines are great for outdoor furniture. You can then spruce up the seating using a variety of bright vibrant cushions with bold designs.
Taking care of your furniture
Most outdoor furniture can simply be sprayed down every couple of weeks but some also need special attention to last longer.
When cleaning wicker furniture, it’s best to start with vacuuming the cushions and chair, then use a bristle brush with medium stiff bristles and warm water to wash down the chair. Keep the amount of water to a minimum, as too much water can damage it. When you are done, wipe it down with quick absorbing towels.
