Sugandha in a new avatar romancing Laden

The firebrand Shaleen from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has come a long way and how. Sugandha who essayed the role of Shaleen will be seen as Laden’s ladylove in her next release, which hits theatres this Friday — the much talked about Tere Bin Laden. Sugandha says, “With Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na I was in my space and connected better with the character of Shaleen, as I am quite like that in real life.” In this movie, however, she plays the role of Zoya who is a make-up artiste. So how strange was it really to romance Laden of all people? “Actually, the situation in the film demands it and in the process of it all, I land up falling in love with him,” laughs Sugandha, adding that her character helps Laden fulfil his dream.
