Stars to play Santa on TV

After Live My Life and Love2 HateU, television will soon get another show with stars sharing some of their limelight with the “commoners”. UTV Bindaas is all geared with their new show Superstar Santa, which will see stars literally playing the role of Santa in the commonners life. No, they won’t be giving away any goodies, instead they will try to solve real-life relationship problems.
While Live My Life allowed a commoner to live the life of a celebrity for a day, Love2 HateU brought a superstar and his biggest hater (of course, by now, you would have realised that it is all choreographed), but these two shows and Superstar Santa shows how desperate Bollywood is to hover in the people’s mind.
However, model-turned-actor Dilkush Reporter, also the host of the show seems to disagree. “Santa is known to spread cheer. Our show is to bring joy in people’s live. It’s so nice to see the cracks in a relationship being repaired in front of you,” she says.
So far Sonam Kapoor and Asin have already signed up for the show, said a source, adding, we are in the process of finalising Priety Zinta and Abhishek Kapoor.
Well, looks like Sonam and Asin already have a back-up career, don’t they?
