And revealing the details about the second South Indian International Movie Awards were none other than ravishing Shriya Saran, hot hunk Rana Daggubati and handsome Arya who apparently are the hosts for the glitzy evening along with Bollywood actor Sonu Sood.
SIIMA aims at honouring the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry (which produces the maximum number of films) namely, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada and create a global platform for them.
To be held on September 12 and 13, the award function will take place at the Sharjah Expo Centre. Shortlisting the best films of all South Indian languages, SIIMA is gearing up for two days of action-packed merriment.
The awards ceremony will be spread over two days. Day one will comprise the Generation Next Awards night, and will be hosted by former Miss India World and actress Parvathy Omanakuttan, and co-hosted by stand-up comedian Ash Chandler. The Popular Awards will be held on day two with the above mentioned stars hosting it.

I am really thrilled that I am co-hosting this prestigious award function and will be sharing the platform with three handsome co-anchors.”
Arya on his part said, “I am excited to be a part of a function where South Indian cinema is presented on a global platform.”
Actor Rana Daggubati who hails from one of the biggest families of Tollywood added, “I am really looking forward to being with a room full of attractive, admired and extremely successful people from the South Indian film industry who are being honoured for their artistic contribution. As the host, it will be a pleasure to ensure that amongst all the cheer, the stars have a good time, are thoroughly entertained, and cherish their moment of praise.”
“SIIMA is a platform for South Indian film industries to showcase their cinema and market it at global level. The award function will be held in a different country every year,” disclosed Vishnuvardhan Induri, founder and MD of SIIMA.
The awards night will be packed with captivating performances by some of the biggest stars of South cinema.
