Solution by accident

There is no instruction sheet. You’re completely on your own. The back of the box ominously intones - “just two pieces”. All you have to do is put them together to make a free standing pyramid. The box dares you to solve it in five minutes.

At Rs 99, Pyramid from Thinktank games is an inspired brain tease. I helplessly twiddled the two pieces, and wondered if this was going to be yet another puzzle I’m doomed to own and never solve. Worse, there’s no solution sheet to glower at when all efforts have failed, which invariably reveals a blindingly obvious few steps I should have taken.
As it happened, into my third minute, I accidentally twirled the two pieces into a self-standing pyramid. I fear that once I separate the two pieces, this monumental triumph may evade me on another attempt!
