Shahid to join big brigade in world tour

Post the success of Jab We Met, Shahid Kapoor never had to look back. The actor, who has been shooting non-stop for years, however, has suddenly found himself with loads of free time. Apparently, Shahid’s Yash Raj Films project, directed by Band Baaja Baarat director Manish Sharma, has been postponed by five months. “We have postponed the film to a later date. Since I’d allotted bulk dates to this YRF film, I’m now left with loads of free time. Currently, I’m jobless,” smiles Shahid. The reason touted for the delay is the director’s back injury.
But Shahid wants to make the most of his “jobless phase”. The rumour is that Shahid has found a new friend in actor Ranbir Kapoor, and the two actors were bonding big time in Macau. “I met Ranbir in Macau. We were performing for the award show. That was the first time I met Ranbir. He is a great guy and if things work out we’ll be together on stage again,” assures Shahid. Eventually, Shahid is planning to take part in the upcoming world tour that has big names like Deepika Padukone and Ranbir etc.
