Salman-SRK lock horns

For an actor, looks, talent and bank balance are only as important as the ego, and if anything, the latter counts for more. At least Tuesday’s fracas at the Mumbai International Airport would seem to suggest so. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who’ve been busy enacting their cold war for several months now, added yet another chapter to it on this fateful date.
Nearly all of Bollywood chose to return home from their exotic New Year holidays on this date, and as fate would have it, Salman and Shah Rukh both happened to return at the same time. They were both partying in Dubai, and their respective entourages ended up creating chaos at the airport.
Incidentally, it was Salman who first put his foot down and insisted that SRK and company should vacate the airport first. He put Shera on the job to ensure that happens. “Shera’s prime concern was Salman’s security and he asked the officials to vacate a certain section of the floor for his boss. His plea was rejected,” says a source present there.
It was during the argument that Shah Rukh and his family made a quiet exit from the airport.
