Revive and rejuvenate your wardrobe
Not getting new clothes this year? You’re not alone. Now you can work on a limited budget and still show the freshness and coolness in the clothes you’ve been wearing. Here are some ideas on how to make your clothes look funky…
***
Embellish them!
Skip the spangles and glitz and go for crystals instead. Trim the necklines of your tops and the edges of the sleeves with crystals. Do the same for your jeans. Mix and match if it suits you — a blue top with pale pink crystals etc.

Refresh the shade Avoid wearing faded clothes by freshening the colour. Just give your stuff to the local drycleaner and have it dyed afresh.

Use stencils to create cool patterns Add unique designs to T-shirts or jeans pockets with stencils and fabric paint. Draw designs ranging from sophisticated swirls to cute cartoons. Letters and phrases can also be stencilled to make a style statement.

Remove those fuzz balls Yes, yes, we know that it’s summer but you will be removing those sweaters from moth balls at some stage. Keep them looking as good as new by removing the little fuzz balls that develop as fabric ages. Here’s what you can do. Get a pumice stone and simply rub it against the fabric — no more fuzz balls and your sweaters will get a brand new, ready to go look!
