Prabhu to perform on CCL stage

Prabhu Deva may have missed out on the IPL 6 inaugural at which Bollywood choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan is to be the face, but he has been chosen to perform alongside Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif for the curtain-raiser of the third season of the Celebrity Cricket League scheduled for today in Mumbai.
According to reports, Farah faced tough competition from Prabhu Deva to bag the prestigious IPL deal. Not one to bat an eyelid, he said from Lonavala where he was shooting, “I am hearing about it from you only. Why would I feel bad about Farah Khan being selected? I am happy for her. I am too busy with the promotions of my acting venture for ABCD and directorial work in Ramaiya Vosthavaiya.”
He is excited though about shaking a leg at the CCL opening day ceremony. “I am planning a medley of super hit numbers from Hindi as well Tamil films for the high-profile event,” he reveals. There too, he will share the stage with Sallu bhai, Katrina and others. The third season will have two new teams, Veer Marathi representing the Marathi film industry and Bhojpuri Dabbang representing the Bhojpuri film industry.
