‘Pooja is footage queen’
Having been inside the Bigg Boss house for over a month, Lakshmi Tripathi, the latest inmate to get evicted from the reality show, is convinced that “controversy” is the key to success on reality TV.
“Controversy sells more than anything else; no one cares about reality unless it is sprinkled generously with spicy gossip and a lot of controversy,” she says, adding that housemate Pooja Missra’s long stay in the house is proof of the fact. “Pooja is still in the house and that goes to show how much people love to feed on controversy. She has problems with everyone and that is what makes her the footage queen. It was Dolly Bindra in the last season who set an example that in this house, the more you fight, the longer you can stay. People want to continue seeing Pooja’s antics and will vote for her,” she says.
Lakshmi confesses that despite the tiffs in the house, she is leaving with bittersweet memories. She says the show helped her reach out to people and spread awareness about the cause she’s been fighting for, although she admits that early eviction is something she had foreseen.
