Pamela ready to give a tough fight to desi divas

Now, it’s official. Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson is going to enter Big Boss 4 this Wednesday. And as the Baywatch babe is ready to spice up the elaborate set, many wonder, will her presence give tough competition to our desi queens Veena Malik and Shweta Tiwari, who are known to add appeal to the show.

Says Neha Sharma, an avid follower of the show, “Pamela is every Indian man’s dream. They have salivated over her for years and a chance to see her on screen in the Bigg Boss house is making them drool already. Women in the house are well aware of this and will definitely feel threatened. Though Veena Malik thinks no less of herself, she might have to fight hard to keep her position of the resident seductress intact.”
Agrees Nidhi Arora, a salon owner who says that she is not sure about Shweta, as she is an intelligent contestant and plans every move carefully. “But, Pamela’s presence will surely make Veena insecure. She is an attention seeker and flirts with everyone on the show including Salman Khan. She is like the Pakistani version of Rakhi Sawant. But now, all men including Ashmit Patel and Hrishant Goswami will go crazy over the bombshell. It’s time for them to give foot massages to Pam,” she smiles.
And Pamela’s entry is sure to tempt many men to watch the show. Says Ashutosh Gupta, an MBA student, “Until now I found no reason to watch the show. Unlike previous seasons when eye-candies like Claudia Ciesla and Diana Hayden were present. Pamela’s entry will give me a reason to watch Bigg Boss. What remains to be seen is if she is asked to tone down to suit the Indian audience. However, the guys in the house will have a tough time if the babe chooses to bare all.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
