Making good energy sense
There are kettles and kettles. And some that are designed to help reduce the amount of electricity consumed whilst boiling. This translates to savings on your electricity bill as it allows you to reduce electrical usage without compromising on slower boiling time. The kettle has been so designed that you can view the water inside. The transparent jug has a measurement guide printed onto its side to aid you in filling the kettle. The company claims that the improved water heating technology and the guidance to only boil the water required can help to save up to 35 per cent of the electrical usage of an average electric kettle. This kettle from Kenwood, also comes in a recycled box that can itself be recycled. However, since most people drink in mugs shouldn’t there be markings for mugs instead of the old fashioned ‘cups’?
