Makers confident, in spite of changed timings
Karol Bagh, the story of the Sethi family who lives in Karol Bagh, is all set for a new slot next week. The show has garnered huge popularity in the northern part of India, especially in Delhi, where it has been shot completely.
Makers of the show believe that simplicity has worked in its favour. And speaking about the changed timings, producer Sudhir Sharma says, “Since Karol Bagh has a loyal audience in the North as well as abroad, we decided to experiment with it. I am sure it is going to work in our favour as the show is getting good TRPs.” Also that channel is planning to promote the new slot quite effectively through intensive advertising and marketing campaigns.
Meanwhile, actor Smriti Kalra and Neil Bhatt’s relations, both on and off-screen have been much talked about. However, she is more interested in the success of the show and says,“The new time slot is going to help us win more fans. The show is already a huge hit. Wherever we go, everybody comes and praises our work.”
The actress also makes a valid point that in the North, prime time starts pretty early. “I feel 7 pm is the perfect time to air this show,” she adds.
Agrees her co-star Neil Bhatt and says, “It will not affect our popularity at all. In fact, I think it will reach out to more people. We have been much appreciated and I hope that continues.”
