Jackie wants a classic wedding
She is just three years old in Bollywood, but looks like this Sri Lankan beauty is pretty well versed with the tricks of the trade. Recently, actress Jacqueline Fernandez floored her fans and critics in the capital when she walked the ramp as the brand ambassador of the fourth edition of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week at the hotel Grand.
The Sri Lankan model-turned-actress looked stunning in designer Jyotsna Tiwari’s bridal lehenga and a cropped turquoise blue zipper blouse. Speaking about her bridal fantasies, a bubbly Jackie mentions, “It’s every girl’s fantasy to be a bride some day. When I tie the knot I want it to be in a classic manner. I want a traditional church wedding, with bridesmaids, and I want my father to walk me down the aisle. I want a gorgeous white lace dress and pearls for my D-day. In my opinion, Kate Middleton was the prettiest bride so far and she looked perfect in the white gown. I loved her vintage look, she was a vision in white.”
Speaking about brides and weddings, Jacqueline suggests that a bride should never look tense on her big day. She says, “I remember at my sister’s wedding she was very tense. When I’ll be a bride I want to be a happy bride. There are three things that I feel a bride should keep in mind — don’t be stressed, be relaxed and party till dawn on your wedding day.”
The confident actress, who’s got rave reviews for her cameo song Jadoo Ki Jhappi in Ramaiya Vastavaiya, is on a film signing spree and has some big projects in her kitty. Talking about her upcoming films, she informs, “I am really looking forward to working with Salman Khan in Kick. Also, I’ll be working opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Roy. Apart from that there’s According to Matthew with Alston Koch — this is a Sri Lankan movie and it was very exciting to go back to my country and shoot for this drama.”
