‘I always knew women are smarter’
Vir Das admits that he always knew women were the superior sex. Only now, he knows why. The actor-turned-comic has spent the last few weeks diligently researching the fairer sex for his upcoming comedy act, Battle Of Da Sexes. “It’s not about a husband and wife bickering over a relationship. This one will focus on a scientific chronology of the age-long struggle between men and women. More like how we evolved as humans to be who we are today,” says Vir who will be playing the role of a man and woman at the same time.
The actor, who will be sporting manicured and freshly painted nails on one hand (quite literally) and a grunge stubble on the other, admits that he has been chatting up the ladies as part of his attempt to understand the beings from Venus. “I’ve been trying to understand their taste in music, films, books, business, the way their mind responds to things etc. I always knew they were smarter, but now I know why,” he says.
Unlike his other acts, this one’s not going to be below-the-belt comedy, he assures us. “In fact, you can watch it with your mum.”
