Hrithik enjoys samosas after 15 years of dieting

Professionalism is setting new standards in Bollywood. Hrithik Roshan, who joined the industry 10 years back, has always given each role his very best. Even though the Bollywood dreamboat is having a tough time battling cold and fever he’s leaving no stone unturned to promote his next release Guzaarish. He was in the capital recently and looked quite upbeat about the movie.

Hrithik was always seen as a hunk, but he gained many pounds to get his look right for this much awaited movie and confessed that he enjoyed samosas after 15 years. He says, “The character I play is bound to a wheelchair, so to make it look real I had to look fat. I have been following a very healthy diet for many years and it was a treat to eat oily food after so long. Within four months my blood report shot up and my doctors got worried about my health.”
The actor spoke extensively about his character Ethan, a magician who suffers from quadriplegia due to an accident. He added, “It’s the happiest character that I have played so far because he is smiling all the time. He is truly a superhero, as he has the power to bring a smile to your face. During the research for the movie, I met quadriplegic patients who proved how a positive outlook in life can change things for the better. This movie is very intense and dark, but it will surely make you smile.”
A lot of people are impressed with the promos and are waiting for the release to check out Hrithik’s new look in the movie. Priyanka Guha, a DU student says, “Hrithik’s beefy look will surely be missed by his fans, but we are waiting to see him playing a magician. The teasers look good and his chemistry with Ash is already making news.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
