How to get ‘Job’ done
For Ashton Kutcher — whose abiding image seems to have been as the cute but intellectually challenged Michael Kelso from That ’70s Show — his new film Jobs is important for more reasons than one.
The actor has said that he wants the soon-to-be-released biopic on Apple founder Steve Jobs, to be “more than just a film”, and said that he wants to inspire the next generation to bring about positive change in the world by channeling their creativity.
“After watching Jobs, I want people to build things. And I want kids to grow up and not think ‘my only option is to go and work in this institution or a factory’ or things like that. They can come up with an idea. Solve a problem and turn that into a business for themselves and create innovation and creative positive change in the world with the tools they make,” Ashton said.
The actor has prepared intensely for his role as Steve Jobs, and seems to have done a good job — no pun intended — of recreating the younger avatar of the tech wizard.
